Dating Coaching for Neurodivergent Adults
Are you frustrated with doing everything you can to try and meet the right person in dating? Do you feel unsure of how and where to meet the right people? Do you wonder if there is a style that might work well for you? Are you tired of hearing about all the strategies that may work for neurotypicals, but don’t really apply to you? If this is you, I offer strategies to meet your person that work well with your neurology! Coaching you through the process, I help you meet your person!
Social and Friendship Coaching for Neurodivergent Adults
If you have moved to a new place, are unsure of where and how to find friends, and generally feeling lonely, coaching is an effective service for you! Together, we explore different social settings. YOUR STRENGTHS AS A NEURODIVERGENT PERSON ARE YOUR SUPEROWERS, and you can use them to meet the right people. While I know it can be hard to navigate the neurotypical world, I believe that neurodivergent people offer a lot to potential friends. If you’re tired of being told to find friends by “fitting into a neurotypical world,” coaching from a neurodiversity model may be the best service to help you!
Employment Coaching for Neurodivergent Adults
Congratulations! You made it through college and graduate school. Welcome to the real word. Well, maybe you didn’t expect that it would be this challenging to find, keep, and be successful in employment. Coaching can help you find the right job for your needs and thrive at work! Your employer may not understand your sensory sensitivity, need for breaks between tasks/assignments, or style of intermingling with other employees. While your parents, friends, and family may be well-meaning, they might give you unrealistic advice to adapt to your neurotypical environment. Through coaching, we will not only recognize and apply your strengths, but also find strategies for self-advocating that work for you AND your employer! Once they see your desire to be the best worker possible, they are much more likely to collaborate with you.
Coaching for Neurodivergent Couples
Lastly, if you are a neurodiverse couple who would like to learn concrete communication skills for working as a team, I also offer couples coaching! I can help you develop strategies for communicating effectively that take into account your neurological differences, and how to most effectively build understanding. We target specific communication strategies without treatment of any psychological conditions.
